2020 Course Map Coming Soon

Hood River Yacht Club sponsors a full sailboat racing calendar including both buoy and point-to-point races.

The weekly Wednesday Night race series runs April through October. These friendly races sail a variety of courses, starting and finishing just west of the Hood River Bridge. Check out quick links on our home page to register for the current series or full season, or click below. Results can be found here, under "HRYC Forum."

HRYC sponsors a number of weekend regattas, including both One Design and PHRF fleets. The club also organizes a number of point-to-point regattas, including the famous Double Damned Race from Cascade Locks to The Dalles.

Find out more about upcoming races on our home page or by checking the events calendar.

For full schedule and results details, please check the links below. If you are a skipper of a boat and would like to participate in a club sponsored race, please make sure to register for the race in advance.

Our weekly race series is only open to club members (join now); our weekend regattas are open to any boater who is a member of a US Sailing member yacht club.
If you are crew and are interested in crewing on a boat, feel free to come down to the Hood River Marina and prowl the docks before the race, or contact the club and we'll try to get you a ride.
