Gorge Sailing Team

The Gorge Sailing Team is the Hood River Yacht Club's high school sailing team. Kids from both sides of the river join together to practice each week. Typically the season starts in late February and finishes mid-May. The team is open for sign ups beginning in January and is currently FULL for the 2025 season.

The team owns a number of 420s and FJs, which are the most commonly used boats for high school and college sailing in the region.

May 3-4 - Oregon State Championships - Cascade Locks
May 10-11 - NWISA District Championships - Cascade Locks
